Coronation Street fans all say the same thing as ITV introduces another teen character

Newcomer Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) made her debut last month - with it later being revealed that she is the daughter of DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers). Betsy was introduced as the pal of Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos).

Besty spotted her pal growing close to creepy lawyer Joel Deering (Calum Lill), who as fans will know is a crazed psychopath, responsible for the disappearance of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Betsy warned Sabrina about Joel and she has since started blackmailing him - not knowing just how dangerous he really is. What’s more, Betsy has also landed work experience at Carla Connor’s (Alison King) factory.
