He graduated from Tallwood High School and continued his education at Norfolk State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. After school, Corey put his degree to use working in the field of Marketing with an emphasis in Sports Management, Marketing, and Venues. Corey never met a stranger, no matter who he or she may be.
He was always ready to greet you with a smile and start a conversation regardless of the topic. Corey loved playing sports (especially football, basketball, and baseball), talking about sports, listening to popular music, and studying current affairs. He started reading the sports pages of the newspapers with his dad at age four, and as a result, often demonstrated more knowledge and statistical proficiency on those topics than the pundits of our day.
