Pune: The city police have collected CCTV footage from spots around Bopdev Ghat to establish the identity of the three men involved in the gang rape of an event management course student (21) on Thursday midnight, but there has been no breakthrough in the case yet. Deputy commissioner of police (zone IV) R Raja on Saturday said, "We are analysing CCTV footage collected from more than 100 locations on 70-80km stretch of roads from the crime scene to establish the identity of the suspects and the routes used by them before and after the crime. But there has been no breakthrough as of now.

" Raja said the process of analysing 3,000 cellphones was in progress and the number of teams formed to detect the gang rape case had been increased from 14 to 60 police teams. The DCP said, "The police teams from the crime branch and detection branch have detained/summoned over 200 criminals involved in crimes against women, property and body offences. Most of them were allowed to go because no substantial information was revealed during the outcome of their questioning.

" The sketches of two suspects have been circulated on all social media groups and villages around Bopdev Ghat. The calls received from the public are being verified. "We hope to detect the case soon," Raja said.
