1 2 3 Prayagraj : Targeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over his ‘ Batenge toh Katenge ' slogan, Nagina MP and president of Azad Samaj Party, Chandra Shekhar Azad , on Thursday said, "It's a conspiracy to divide people and seek votes." He questioned CM Yogi that what all of a sudden happened that he, who was ruling the state for the past seven years, has started giving such statements and slogans. Nagina MP was in Prayagraj on Thursday to attend an event in Phulpur in support of the party candidate contesting the bypoll.
He claimed that "if there were no courts (nyay palika), then the govt would have been proving all its lies as truth and crime into right actions." There were cases of atrocities on Muslims and Dalits, he said adding, "Samanya dal se sasti Dalit ki jaan hai aur masoor dal se sasti Musalman ki jaan hai." He also claimed that slogans like "batenge toh katenge" were aired only to misguide people from real issues.
