Conor McGregor has hit back at claims that he made Anthony Joshua drink his Forged Irish Stout after one of the heavyweight boxer's fights. McGregor was in attendance as Joshua defeated Robert Helenius at the O2 in London last August and celebrated with the Brit afterwards. The UFC star was seen giving Joshua a pint of his beer, with the former heavyweight world champion looking somewhat confused by the gesture.
This led to many fans claiming McGregor forced the drink on Joshua, but the Dubliner claims that was not the case. He exited the ring post his amazing victory and came straight to me and said “where is my Forged!” I gave him mine.
It was the first time that had happened at a fight. "It’s seriously tasty and incredibly refreshing you won’t get better! I don’t blame him one bit I am sure he enjoyed it thoroughly after the fight. So much so he ordered multiple keg loads of it to his local pub! Top man, top fighter, top Stout.
