Panchkula: Taking a dig at Congress , BJP candidate from Panchkula Gian Chand Gupta on Tuesday said the party’s DNA comprised of lies, which is why the party relies on falsehoods to stay relevant and engages in politics of deception. While addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the BJP candidate announced that Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath would hold a massive Jan Ashirwad rally at Sector-16 of Panchkula on Sept 30. He said Yuva Morcha state president Yogendra Sharma is the convener of the rally.

He said the workers have been given different responsibilities to prerpare for the upcoming rally. Gupta asserted that the BJP has completed 121 development projects over the past 10 years, totaling around Rs 5,000 crore. Highlighting the accomplishments during his decade in office, he mentioned the construction of Sanskriti Senior Secondary School in Sector-26, the Government Polytechnic cum Multi Skill Centre, the Government Engineering College, and the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Sector 23.

He also noted the establishment of an international-level shooting range in Sector-32. Additionally, he pointed out the Medical College in Sector-32, Senior Citizen Bhawan in Sector-27, a Working Women’s Hostel, a multi-featured park in Sector-24, a 220 KV electricity substation in Sector-22, the UHBVN Office in Sector-25, an urban polyclinic, a CSC Centre in Sector-26, and a dumping ground in Sector-23, along with a tender of Rs 22 crore released for garba.
