FAI JUNIOR CUP: Aisling Annacotty 9 Corbally United 0 AISLING Annacotty are well and truly back in their groove and they posted two victories in the FAI Junior Cup this week. On Tuesday goals from Adam Foley (2), Conor Carew, Willie Armshaw, Sean Ezekannagha and Theo Joyce gave the Premier League leaders a 6-2 win over Athlunkard Villa. They followed that up on Saturday evening when they overran Corbally Utd.
Adam Foley was again scorer in chief with three, Conor Coughlan claimed a couple and Eliah Riordan, Willie Armshaw, Joey Rushe and Alex Sidorov made up the winners’ tally. Fairview Rgs 4 Kilmallock 2 As expected, Kilmallock made Fairview earn their passage to round three of the FAI Junior Cup at the Fairgreen on Saturday evening, the Blues advanced on a 4-2 scoreline. Darragh Rainsford put the home side ahead but Tommy Heffernan equalised to send the sides in level at the break. The Premier side regained the lead through a Shane Duggan penalty and Kane Connolly gave them breathing room before Duggan scored his second to make t 4-1.
