Bolton College has launched its official “Esports” team along with a new partnership to help students learn to “thrive in the industry.” The Deane Road based college will be working with Middlebrook Scan Computers to help deliver the programme, while the Esports team has been dubbed “Bolton Titans.” Scan Computers will feature their logo on student uniforms and merchandise and will provide insights and practical knowledge about the industry.
College assistant principal of curriculum and stakeholder engagement Catherine Langstreth said: “We are proud to partner with Scan Computers, a company that shares our vision of developing the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the Esports industry. “This collaboration is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn from experts and engage with industry professionals. The Bolton Titans will be competing in games like Valorant, Apex Legends, Overwatch.
