LW: Ruth Langsford returns following split from Eamonn Holmes Ruth Langsford made a triumphant return to Loose Women on Monday (July 22) after a two-month hiatus following her split from husband Eamonn Holmes. The 64-year-old was warmly welcomed by fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter, and Brenda Edwards. Before Ruth could kick off the show, Coleen interjected: "Wait, wait, wait, before you carry on, can I just say I am so so happy you're back.

" The live audience erupted in cheers and applause for the ITV host, prompting an appreciative "Aw" and a broad smile from Ruth. She then took a moment to thank her co-stars and audience, looking directly into the camera. Janet chimed in with: "Thank God, Thank God, I was left with her" as Brenda chuckled and clapped.
