The Fix You hitmakers – comprising frontman Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland and pianist Will Champion – took to the stage for their Music of the Spheres world tour in Melbourne last night sans Guy Berryman. Martin addressed the historic first before the band's set began at Marvel Stadium and apologised for Berryman's absence.

He's not going to be able to play today. "We'll have a slightly different show and we'll do our best to make it amazing, and I know that it will be amazing because we're in Melbourne with all of you beautiful people."
