Coffee for a Cure raises over $25,000 for breast cancer patients

The ninth year of Coffee for a Cure, a partnership between Mosaic Life Care and the Human Bean, raised over $25,000 for breast cancer patients. The coffee shop collected a total of $12,656 in sales and tips on Friday, Oct 18. The Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary match made the grand total to be $25,312, which benefits the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.

Over the last 19 years, the Human Bean has raised more than $3 million to benefit breast cancer causes in local community. The Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary oversees the Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, which provides mammograms, education and post-diagnosis support for local breast cancer patients. The fund also aids patients who need financial help while undergoing breast cancer treatment.
