Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrives later this year, which includes brand-new round-based Zombies maps. A new cinematic trailer for the Terminus map sets up the events that followed the final Zombies cutscene from Black Ops Cold War. Here's everything we learned from the trailer reveal.

In the final events of Black Ops Cold War's Zombies storyline, players helped the Requiem crew stop the threat of the Forsaken and the Dark Aether. The victory came at a steep cost with the loss of Agent Samantha Maxis, who sacrificed herself to seal the Dark Aether portal, and the entire Requiem crew was arrested by the "Director," a character revealed to be Edward Richtofen. Now, the Black Ops 6 storyline takes place almost half a decade later, and Terminus is a nighttime map set on a remote prison island.

The Requiem crew is imprisoned here--including Weaver, Carver, Strauss, Dr. Elizabeth Grey, and the pilot known as Raptor One. The entire crew is also looking way more buff than we saw them in Black Ops Cold War.

The cinematic shows Requiem get a dramatic prison breakout, which is all thanks to their Black Ops Cold War adversary, Dr. William Peck, and a brand-new character named Maya Aguinaldo. Peck wants Requiem's help with hunting down Richtofen, and Maya is revealed to have her own personal stake in the rescue mission, as she mentions her help included a deal to also rescue her brother from the island.

However, all of their plans are interrupted by a zombie outbreak. Terminus is just one .
