CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The actress posted on social media a heartfelt birthday message for her late father, Miguel “Mike” Barretto. The Barretto clan is one of the most popular families in the Philippine showbiz industry. Undeniably, their prominence started with the popularity of sisters Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine in the entertainment industry until the next generation also entered showbiz.
Gretchen is the eldest among the Barretto sisters and she is the partner of business tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco. They have a daughter, Dominique, who recently gave birth to her first baby with her foreigner husband, Michael Hearn. One of Marjorie’s children, Julia Barretto, is undeniably the most popular from their family next to her mom and aunts.
She did several movies that gathered the crowd in cinemas. Julia’s newest film with Joshua Garcia is now showing in cinemas. Among the Barretto sisters, only Claudine Barretto stayed in her acting career although she is not as active in the field as she was before.
Visibly, her main priority are her children — Sabina, Santino, Quia, and Noah. Sabina and Santino are the children of Claudine and her estranged husband, Raymart Santiago. He is their only biological child.
After the separation of the celebrity former couple, the actress welcomed two (2) more children to her home. In 2019, the Barretto family was left in sadness and deep grief with the passing of their patriarch, Miguel Barretto or also popularly called as “Daddy Mike�.
