Jeremy Clarkson's long-time friend and executive producer of Clarkson's Farm, Andy Wilman, has criticised the TV star for his lack of patience and inability to listen. Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Wilman, who has worked with Clarkson for over two decades, was asked if any scenes on Clarkson's Farm were staged. He responded that there was no need for orchestration due to Clarkson's impatience and poor listening skills.

In an interview ahead of the final episode of Clarkson, Hammond and May's Grand Tour next month, Wilman explained: "We don't actually need to set anything up. He knows f*** all about anything mechanical and because he can't listen and has no patience," adding, "He'll start driving something and next thing you know he's in a pond - so we don't set anything up and it makes us so happy that we don't have to." Wilman also gave some insight into the final episode of the Grand Tour, which will see the famous trio unite for one last road trip.

He described the episode as "deliberately gentle" and a farewell between the three, who are all deeply involved in their own projects. Wilman concluded: "Not much happens, I would say. Anybody that thinks they're going to get Avengers: Endgame will be disappointed but their camaraderie is next level.

"They say goodbye better than any presenters could ever say goodbye because they're so close. They can take the piss out of one another and then be emotional as well. It's quite weepy.
