Reggae singer Clancy J.R. is in an upbeat mood as he promotes his new single titled The Way To My Heart .
"My new single is doing very well, I'm happy with the response it's receiving from DJs in various parts of the world including Jamaica, the US, England, Europe and Africa. R. said the single was inspired by a heartbreaking experience. "This song is about a lady who I loved deeply who left me for what she thought would be greener pastures.
It was a very painful experience that lingered in my mind for a long time. So, I channelled all the painful emotions that I felt into this song. I had the idea for quite some time, but I never wrote the song until my friend Chilli gave me a rhythm.
