Pune: The Mahalunge MIDC police on Tuesday arrested a 34-year-old man, a municipal council employee in Beed district, on the charge of robbing two daily wage workers of Rs50,000. According to the police, the suspect — Sanghpal Rode of Nighoje in Khed taluka — and his accomplice, who is still absconding, had committed the crime on Aug 24 at Nighoje village in Khed taluka. Laxmandas Nagodas (21), a worker who hails from Dumka district in Jharkhand, had lodged a complaint against the duo.
