1 2 3 4 Prayagraj: In preparation for the Maha Kumbh 2025 , Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a unique initiative to transform the walls of Prayagraj into a vast canvas. Artists from the city and across the country are working tirelessly to create symbols related to Sanatan Dharma on an area spanning over 10 lakh square feet. Archana Jadhav, hailing from Indore, leads a team of 70 individuals who are engrossed in painting the walls day and night.
Her team, which arrived in Prayagraj in early Oct, is working on various art forms such as mural painting, 3D art, and Madhubani art. They have also created 108 dancing postures of Nataraja on the walls. Archana expresses her gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, describing the work as both divine and innovative.
The walls are being adorned with depictions of the Ramayana, featuring Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Hanuman, and other characters. In addition to fine arts students, some deaf and mute youth are also contributing to the wall paintings. Archana's team is focusing on works that promote Sanatan culture and aims to complete the paintings by Nov end.
The team comprises students from various parts of the country, including Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, all of whom receive remuneration for their efforts.
