Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has been racking up accolades for a live album that captures the 25-year-old blues guitarist at his shredding, smoldering best. Ingram recorded “Live from London” at a memorable sold-out show at London’s Garage venue on June 6, 2023. Fans can hear Ingram play guitar and sing alongside Christopher Black on drums, Paul Rogers on bass and Deshawn “D-Vibes” Alexander on piano and Hammond B-3 organ.
The Clarksdale, Mississippi, native said he hopes to share with audience members at Charlottesville’s Jefferson Theater during Thursday night’s show the same kind of soaring energy that the live album documents. It’s all part of bringing a memorable show every time. When asked what makes for a great night on stage, Ingram kept it straightforward.

” “Live in London” captured “the show as it is, top to bottom,” said Ingram, who spoke shortly after returning home from a high-energy South American tour. “It was wonderful. We had a packed house everywhere,” he said.
