There are few better ways of getting into the spirit than by spending an evening walking amongst beautiful festive lights. This year, Leeds Castle near will be completely transformed into a spellbinding wonderland of colour and illuminations as the historic venue is once again hosting its popular Christmas Lights Trail. Running from November 22 through to January 1, more than one million dazzling lights will come together with seasonal sounds and installations from renowned artists to create a wholly unique experience.

Highlights from this year’s iteration include the ever-changing rainbow trees from ArtAV and the Sea of Light by ITHACA Studio, where thousands of LEDs will move rhythmically to a musical soundtrack. As before, there will be illuminated tunnels, woodland decorations and seasonal scents in the air to immerse you in this experience. Street food vendors are going to keep guests stocked up on festive treats including spiced winter warmers, hot chocolates, toasted marshmallows and more.

That’s not all the castle will have to offer for the 2024 holiday season either, as the venue is putting on a new Nutcracker adventure, bringing the classic tale to life around the attraction. Expect to see huge nutcracker soldiers, twirling ballerinas and beautiful snowflakes, taking guests on the same journey that Clara follows in the legendary story from Sugar Plum Fairy's ballroom to the mouth-watering Land of Sweets. Complete with live characters, including the Nutcracker Pr.
