The future of Christchurch’s World Buskers Festival looks secure, as a new delivery partner commits to the city for three more years. It’s been confirmed street artists and performers will fill the streets of Ōtautahi from January 24 to February 2, 2025, for the 32nd year. Spectators will experience a refreshed festival, as new delivery partner HooHa Productions looks to showcase Māori and Pasifika arts and culture, and emphasise local artists.

The city’s economic development agency ChristchurchNZ said in addition, HooHa Productions was awarded delivery rights for an innovative evening programme, and community-focused programme of workshops and master classes. For the past five years, the festival has been under the Bread and Circus moniker..
