The on-screen couple walked down the aisle, with Amy having the unique achievement of being Chris Hemsworth's first 'wife', albeit on screen only. 'I'm a different person – and it took me a long time to unpack that time,' Amy told the Daily Telegraph of her years in the show's fictional Summer Bay. 'Nobody prepares you for fame, or media, or your perception or your branding, or anything like that.

'And I was young and learning and making mistakes, and if I had my time over, I'd do it differently.' She added: 'I was just so surprised when I got Home and Away – I was like, "Are you sure about this?" I don't feel like this is where I belong, but I'm very grateful to be here.'
