Since its founding, Hideaki Shikama has infused his taste for vintage and archival fashion into Children of the Discordance ‘s collections. Now, the brand is getting its own sub-label called Second Edition, which will be available exclusively at Japanese retailer B’2nd. Children of the Discordance has unveiled the first images of its new sub-label, debuting a pared-back collection of versatile essentials.

Muted shades of grey, brown, and navy make up a solid range of outerwear, including a long parka with an extra-wide collar, a mock-neck fleece jacket with vaulted paneling, and a bomber jacket boasting open vents at the chest. Standing out among the outerwear is a sleeveless puffer vest with a roomy hood, styled with washed-out carpenter pants. Elsewhere, a navy blue track pant features ornate taping along the side seam and trousers are constructed with deep pleats for a dressed-up look.

Beneath the strong outerwear silhouettes, shirting appears more expressively. A traditional plaid flannel cut with a camp collar is joined by a tan-hued button-up printed with a technicolor tribal design that dissolves into disparate shapes. The first collection of Children of The Discordance’s Second Edition line will be available on November 2 at B’2nd ‘s online store.
