Some Childish Gambino fans will have to wait even longer to see Donald Glover perform one last time. After previously postponing his final Childish Gambino shows mid-tour, Glover has now canceled the rest of the tour outright, citing “an ailment that had become apparent” on the road. Glover tweeted that he went to the hospital before his show in Houston on September 8, and learned that he “could not perform the rest of the U.

S. tour in the time asked.” He added that he’ll be having surgery for the ailment.

“My path to recovery is something I need to confront seriously,” Glover wrote. After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure of an ailment that had become apparent. After being assesed, it became clear i would not perform that night, and after more tests, i could not perform the rest of the US tour in the time asked.

As of now...

After kicking off his final Childish Gambino tour in August, Glover still had over a dozen North American dates to go, along with European and Australian legs. The tour was slated to end next February. But Glover’s cancellation still doesn’t seem to spell the end of Childish Gambino yet.

“I want nothing more than to bring this show to the fans and perform,” he added, leaving the door open for a rescheduled tour. “Until then, thanks for love, privacy, and support.”.
