The Kansas City Chiefs can not afford many more injuries to their offense, but they suffered another major one in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Wide receiver Rashee Rice suffered a knee injury while trying to make a play following an interception. After Kristian Fulton intercepted a Patrick Mahomes pass, he fumbled the football during the return leading to a scramble for the loose ball.

During that scramble Mahomes fell into Rice's knee, bending it in an awkward fashion. After walking to the sidelines he was eventually carted to the locker room and immediately ruled out for the remainder of the game. #Chiefs WR Rashee Rice had to be helped off the field after Patrick Mahomes hit him trying to make a tackle.

It is even worse for the Chiefs because wide receiver was already an issue even before this, while the offense is currently decimated by injuries to skill players. Along with Rice, the Chiefs are also playing without wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown who came over in free agency to add depth at the position. He was injured on the first preseason snap of the year and could miss the entire season.

Starting running back Isiah Pacheco is also injured and sidelined for several weeks. Rice was the Chiefs' top wide receiver d.
