The Girls Aloud star, 41, witnessed the Northern lights with her son, took in the breathtaking views and had a moment of self-reflection while staying at a luxurious manor house. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, 25 August with a video of their getaway, Cheryl wrote the caption: "There’s really no place like the English countryside when the sun is shining, and as if it couldn’t get any better.
. the northern lights even shone for us too, thank you Ben and Paul @thecountryhousediaries, it really couldn’t have been more perfect." In the video reel, Cheryl shared highlights from their stay as she fed some chickens and explored the stunning countryside.
She lounged around on a hammock that was fixed to a tree before catching the sensational Northern lights which saw the sky turn to purple and green. In a sweet photo, the popstar admired the Northern lights alongside her son Bear - he pointed up at the sky, while she had her arm wrapped around him. Cheryl also provided a glimpse of the country house manor in the video which was set within sprawling grounds and appeared to be another perfect spot to capture the sunset.
