She's had a manic few months of gigs with Girls Aloud and now Cheryl is having some much needed and well deserved time off, with a break at an 'exclusive' countryside retreat not too far from home turf. Nearly 22 years after finding fame on ITV show Popstars: The Rivals and ultimately getting a place in Girls Aloud, Newcastle born star Cheryl has been playing to packed arenas all over the UK and Ireland, with bandmates Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh. The Girls Aloud Show tour kicked off in Dublin in May, as the now quartet used their live return to pay tribute to Sarah Harding, who died in 2021, after a battle with cancer.

The string of dates saw Girls Aloud delight fans in cities like Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool, where the tour wrapped up. Earlier this month, the Brit winners were back on stage again, this time to headline Brighton Pride and now, having had a very busy few months, all four members are taking the chance to relax and unwind, with Cheryl doing just that at the Country House luxury holiday home in Cumbria.
