DISHES from all over the world created by top chefs are set to take visitors on a culinary adventure. The Great British Food Festival returns to Arley Hall in September. A feast of tantalising flavours will be prepared live on stage as an artisan market, street food, bars, crafts and live music fill the grounds of this Cheshire stately home.

The festival is on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. Janine Maycock, one of the event co-founders, said: “The festival aims to bring people together through a shared love of food and offers a range of activities including the chilli challenge, sausage and cider challenge, kids’ cookery, cake-off, foraging walks, and more. “With plenty of bars, a local crafts and gift marquee and a vast artisan market of over 40 stalls showcasing the best local produce, visitors are in for a treat.

” Chef demonstrators will include The Alberti Twins, Italian twin brothers, John and Tony who appeared on the first season of Love Island. The pair are now cooking up a storm in kitchens across the world. Also, on the roster is COOK! the Vegetarian Society’s new cookery school, bringing their love of plants to the table.

Marni Xuto, who grew up in Bangkok, is a recipe developer and runs Thai food cookery courses. Presenter Marni will be interviewing the chefs and making sure there are lots of samples for visitors to try and keeping everything fun.
