Chatham, No. 19 in the NJ.com Top 20, displayed strong depth en-route to its 11th-straight Morris County Tournament championship on Tuesday at Delbarton in Morristown.

For the third year in a row, the Cougars won individual titles at third singles, first doubles and second doubles and tallied 20 points for the tournament. Mendham finished in second place with 17 points while Hanover Park and Parsippany Hills each tied for third with 12 points. Chatham’s Jin Zhang defeated Hanover Park’s Tanvi Daita of Hanover Park for the third singles crown, 6-4, 6-2, Michelle Moran and Mary Zhang also cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win over Montville’s Abby Broder and Eva Skibinsky at first doubles and second doubles Eden Heitlinger and Kelly Nie recorded a win against Randolph’s Amy Myerson and Riyana Chaudhary (score coming).

Zhang won three county titles in her career including two at third singles. She also won at second doubles as a freshman and reached the semifinals once at second singles. Moran (two at first doubles) and Mary Zhang (second doubles) have now each won two county championships as well.

Whippany Park sophomore Audrey Rha repeated as the first singles winner as well as she downed Mendham’s Sofia Cicarone in that final in convincing fashion, 6-1, 6-1. Parsippany Hills’ Sahana Singh also won the second singles crown as she defeated Mendham’s Maya Gieszczynski. The tournament was supposed to take place this past Saturday and Sunday, but rain moved the first day to Frid.
