Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has hoped for a bit of luck following the team’s uncertain run of form this season. The Maranello-based team was miles of the pace as compared to Lando Norris and Max Verstappen at the Singapore GP. Charles Leclerc started the season in strong fashion, asserting his stance as a fierce title competitor.
He secured commendable wins at Monaco and Monza, conquering the likes of McLaren and Red Bull. Leclerc has, however, failed to be consistent with his performances, which has cost him greatly in the title race. The Monegasque driver has thereafter taken a realistic approach for Ferrari heading into the final six races of 2024.
Leclerc has hoped for betterment in his team’s developments while optimizing results as much as possible. There needs to be a little bit of luck involved on our side, because even if we do really well until the end of the season, it is going to be difficult to go and take the drivers’ title. But I am not really thinking about it now, I’m just trying to focus race-by-race and the worst thing we can do at this moment is to have wrong expectations going forward.
