Chappell Roan doesn't know "how to handle [her] emotions". The 26-year-old star was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 22, and despite undergoing therapy and taking medication, Chappell has admitted that she still struggles with her emotions. The 'Pink Pony Club' hitmaker told Interview magazine: "I hope I look back at this time and still stand behind all the nos that I’ve said, because I say no to pretty much everything right now.
"I don’t want to f****** go back into the mental hospital because I don’t know how to handle my emotions. I hope I don’t look back and I’m like, 'Damn, if I just would’ve sucked it up and pushed a little harder.' I don’t think I will, but I’m always scared of that.
" Chappell explained that she wants to remain authentic to herself and her feelings. She said: "I’m just trying my best to honour my feelings, and I hope that my future self is still on that train." Meanwhile, Chappell recently admitted that she wants "to be like Hannah Montana".
The singer revealed that she's a huge fan of Miley Cyrus and her on-screen alter ego.
