After releasing the album – her debut full-length LP – in 2023, Roan has soared to fame. The album is on course to hit Number One in the UK , while her Lollapalooza set at the weekend is among the best-attended in the festival’s history .
Her rise can be attributed in part to her support slot on Olivia Rodrigo ’s mammoth ‘ Guts ’ tour, as well as the runaway success of single ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ In a four-star review of “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’ , NME called it, ”A display of Roan’s bold and brazen pen, where she places searing revelations alongside some deliciously cheeky choruses. Island Records shared the news of the limited-edition vinyl in a statement. “What a year it has been!” it said.
