"My mum always kept a tidy bench, and all the Tupperware was lined up perfectly," she said.

"We were always well-dressed and well-presented." After living in Melbourne, Ms Jones noticed a gap in the industry and realised the growing demand for her skills. "I'd go to people's houses to help them out," she said.

"I started with a family of four with twins. She'd leave me in the house and say, 'Just do what needs to be done,' and then that's when word got around." When Ms Jones relocated to Wodonga in 2021, she had a light bulb moment while working in retail.

"I wondered why don't I do my decluttering full-time?" she said. She then enrolled in a 12-month program at Asuria Wodonga, an employment agency that supported her decision to launch her own business. "It was really helpful," she said.

"They guided me through promoting myself, accounting, and running a business, and after 12 months of mentoring, I jumped straight in." Though her journey has had a slow start, Ms Jones remains optimistic. "I'm getting there," she said.
