Challenge fans were elated when they finally got to watch the log-awaited 40th season, which brought back 40 competitors from the show’s past, but they were left fuming when the episode ended in a cliffhanger–and no eliminations. The episode quickly saw some drama erupt as the “veterans” established dominance over the “rookies,” and old rivalries quickly flared. Some competitors have also since slammed the edit they got on the show as well–but fans are more concerned over the way the episode actually played out.

Unfortunately, after the deliberations from each Era group–they were left without that. Some fans quickly voiced their concerns about not only not getting an elimination, but not even knowing who would be put up into the round with the losers from the challenge.

Taking to Reddit , they expressed fury. “It legit pisses me off. We’ve been waiting for this season with bated breath, and they can’t even give us the first episode with the outcome,” one said.

“I hate it. I paused and saw lots of time left. But then the meetings took forever and milked the whole episode.
