A former model who recently accused Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s has ties to central Pennsylvania. Stacey Williams, a swimsuit model who was featured multiple times in Sport Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue in the 1990s, told The Guardian that she was introduced to Trump by Jeffrey Epstein in 1993 , and upon meeting her, Trump grabbed her breasts, waist and buttocks. Williams said the incident had felt like a “twisted game” between Trump and Epstein at the time, according to the Washington Post .

The Trump campaign has denied Williams' story, stating that it is “obvious this fake story was contrived by Kamala Harris’ campaign.” The Trump campaign also noted that Williams' story was first made public during a “Survivors for Kamala” Zoom call, although that group is not affiliated with Harris' campaign. In an interview with CNN , Williams said that she had discussed the incident involving Trump privately with others several times.

She decided to come forward publicly with her story after discussing the incident in a 2022 documentary, though she didn’t mention Trump by name at the time. The documentary premiered last weekend, and when Williams found out that portion of the interview would appear in the film, she decided to speak specifically about what happened. “You want to be really, really ready, and I wasn’t,” she said in the interview with CNN.
