Celebrity Race Across The World viewers have already named Jeff Brazier had his son Freddy ‘winners’ after their heartfelt moment. The father and son duo are taking part in the new series of the BBC hit show. Fans will see the pair race to a distant finish line without the aid of air travel or modern conveniences.

They have been forced to leave behind their lavish lifestyles and rely on just a map and a limited budget to get them through the 12,500km journey Competing alongside them is Broadcaster Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy, actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen, radio host Scott Mills and his husband Sam. Just minutes into the episode, viewers were left emotional as Jeff made a heartfelt admission and revealed that he is using the race to bond more with his son as he rarely gets to see him. The duo started their journey in the North of Brazil in the port city of Belem and had to make it to their final destination.

To get there they must pass through five checkpoints and only after they have reached one is when they will find out where they need to be. With a budget of £1,100, Jeff and Freddy, 19, wanted to save as much money as possible so they chose to stay off the grid and opted for a rural homestay. After 14 hours on an overnight bus, they ended up in the "middle of nowhere".

Jeff shared his concerns and said: “Freddy, are you a little worried that we’ve put ourselves in the middle of nowhere.” Owners Maria and husband Jose provided Jeff and Fred.
