The celebrity chef managed to avoid serious injury after the fall, but does have a gruesome gash on his knee to show for it. A clip shared to Instagram by a crew member shows the star preparing for filming his Food Diary TV series, with the caption: 'This was five minutes before Colin Fassnidge fell into the sewer and became the grumpiest man on tour.

' And another clip shows the aftermath of the fall, and Colin's knee. "The producer said "go left" but there was no man hole cover over [it] so I found s***," said the Irish chef, as his producer jested: "Blame it on me again! I said to go left." As a producer quipped: "Grumpy Colin is here, he has just had a little accident falling into the sewer. Now, he's looking for some sanitation." The chef was filming his Food Diary series, in which he travels abroad immersing with local food & culture.
