The former Towie legend, 36, posted a tell-all video about undergoing upper and lower blepharoplasty on his Instagram account . The procedure involves the removal of excess skin or fat from the eyelids and changes the look of hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags, according to the NHS .
His 1.1M followers commented that he looked unrecognisable after the eyelid procedure, with @missladders remarking: ‘You look completely different!’ Echoing their sentiment, @adriquint exclaimed: ‘My goodness this came up on my feed and I had to look up who it was, completely different person!’ @mcgoldrick.angela added: ‘Always so handsome xx.

Time to start saving.’ In the clip, Mario explained he spent £3,700 on upper and lower eyelid surgery as he wanted to look ‘refreshed and younger.’ He said he felt self-conscious he looked ‘tired and older than his age’, particularly after having children daughter Cali Roux, one, and son Parker Jax, four, with wife Becky Miesner.
Mario insisted he felt ‘no pain at all’ during the surgery and ‘didn’t feel a thing’ but spent two days in bed recovering. He added it took 10 days in total for the swelling and bruising to subsid.
