She passed away peacefully on August 27.Born in Watsonville on October 7, 1946, Carolyn graduated from Watsonville High School and later attended Cabrillo College.
It was there that she met her future husband, Hank Allen. They married in 1968 and soon settled in Aptos, where they raised their four children.Carolyn was a dedicated mother who made her family her top priority.
She always made time to attend her children’s sporting events, 4H events, Scout activities, and Home & School Club functions. Her support and involvement in their lives were constant and unwavering.Carolyn found her calling in the home health care industry, where she dedicated herself to providing compassionate care for others.
Her passion for helping those in need led her and Hank to open their own agency, Quality Home Care, where they made a lasting impact on the lives of many in their community. Known for her warm hugs and open-door hospitality, Carolyn welcomed friends and family into her home with open arms.
