Young Florrie Bark received the surprise of her life when Little Mix's Perrie Edwards revealed she had scooped the Child of Courage award at the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards , in partnership with TSB.

To mark the occasion, Carol joined Florrie on This Morning . During the chat, when host Cat Deeley mentioned Carol's long-standing role with the show, Carol became visibly moved, dabbing her eyes and confessing "I'm having a moment". Despite facing acute myeloid leukaemia from an early age and now awaiting a lung transplant, Florrie has maintained an unwaveringly positive outlook, becoming an inspiration to many with her resilience.
