The My Kitchen Rules couple, who lost their daughter Poppy Grace to leukaemia last year, took to Instagram to share the news with their fans in a lengthy post. On their joint account, they shared photographs of their baby boy and revealed they have called him Sunny Lars in a poignant tribute to their late daughter Poppy.

They explained how how the name Sunny references the time they spent at the beachside café Sunny Boy while Poppy was in hospital, while Lars is a tribute to their daughter's bone marrow transplant donor. In a long caption, Carly emotionally shared that she was separated from Sunny for the first four hours after his birth after he had resuscitation distress during the 'scary' labour. But she reassured fans that after spending 23 hours in the special care nursery, their baby boy has recovered and gushed over the 'joy' he has already brought them.
