Her Royal Highness, aka Kate Middleton, marked her first official day back on the job as a working member of The Royal Family on Tuesday following her completion of preventative chemotherapy for cancer, according to multiple reports. “The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle,” an entry in the official record of past royal engagements known as The Court Circular states.
Meeting with the team at the Early Years organization, which aims to give children a better start in the first five years of their lives, was a fitting choice for the princess’ first official work appointment of 2024 given that she has described the project as “her life’s work.” Her health permitting, Kate is reportedly planning to carry out “a handful” of duties in the coming months, according to The Times . Prince William was also listed on Tuesday’s Court Circular entry, according to royal reporter Richard Palmer.
The Prince of Wales “went on a private visit today to meet special forces soldiers from 22 Special Air Service regiment who have recently served on operations,” Palmer posted on X . Palmer was among those who reported on the princess’ return to royal duties. At the time of publication, Kate and William’s meetings were not reported on the publicly available court circular online.
