Vinayakan is an actor who has carved a niche for himself in South Indian cinema. Despite the acting marvel on screen, Vinayakan has courted controversies in the past for his outspoken nature. He also had his share of police station visits to settle many cases.
Now, Vinayakan’s latest interview is seeking the attention of the masses. Vinayakan: “These days we see children from Kerala flying abroad for studies. It is now similar to how students went to neighbouring states to study during older times.
Students leaving for foreign countries have turned normal. Why do you think they leave Kerala for such countries? According to me, they are not going to study. They are on a quest for freedom, which they will never get in their home state.
Better salaries, employment, living facilities, and luxurious lifestyles are luring them. They are not going to study. There is no need to leave the country to seek education.
We also have good educational centres here. But at the end of the day, these students are going abroad to enjoy life. Can any woman walk alone through Thoppumpady Bridge at midnight? Will they have the courage to do so? Even before covering half of the bridge, the ‘vultures’ will fall upon you.
There will be no escape. The new generation of children are aware of this fact. They want to escape.
If they study here, they will end up looking after their husbands and parents and will have no time for themselves. Do you have the guts to wear a two-piece bikini and walk in.
