Known worldwide as the top achievement for chefs, MICHELIN stars are the top honors in the culinary world. MICHELIN awards the stars to the best of the best, and California celebrates the addition of 7 new-starred restaurants to the list for 2024.

The MICHELIN 2024 California Guide was announced this week following a ceremony in Half Moon Bay, listing the restaurants worthy of stars, with the most important category ranked from one to three stars. Aubergine , Sons & Daughters and Vespertine were each awarded two MICHELIN Stars, with Vespertine also being the newest Green Star restaurant in the selection. California now has 13 two MICHELIN Starred restaurants and continues to support emerging new chef talents and unique cuisines.

Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of the MICHELIN Guides says, “Our Inspectors continue to be impressed with this year’s selection, and we toast and celebrate the excellent chef and restaurant teams being recognized.
