Daniel Kinahan’s home has been put on the market by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB), with an asking price of €550,000. Two years ago, CAB seized the detached four bedroom home which sits on a corner of a gated complex at Coldwater Lakes in Saggart, Dublin. In 2022, the property was deemed to be purchased with the ‘proceeds of crime’.

Stretching to 317sq.m (3,410sq.ft) of living space, the ground floor of the property includes a spacious front room with a bay window and dining/living room, which features a classic fireplace that sits on a white marble mantlepiece.

The kitchen of the home has a curved island with black countertops and an open design, which integrates the kitchen to the living/dining area. A guest toilet completes the ground floor. Heading up the stairs via the grand staircase are the four large bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms.

The main bathroom completes the first floor. Completing the home is a converted garage with mirrored walls, which selling agent BRG Gibson have said is perfect for a home gym, dance studio or recreational space. 10 Coldware Lakes, Saggart, Co Dublin will go up for auction on December 12 with a starting price of €550,000.

The High Court ordered that the CAB could seize the mansion, which was ‘effectively owned’ by Kinahan, in 2022. High Court Judge Mr Michael MacGrath ruled that the home, which was worth €750,000 in 2013, was deemed to be the proceeds of crime in his ruling. CAB Barrister Shelley Horan said .
