The new Broadway production of Romeo + Juliet will be celebrating its official opening night performance this week and the show has released some gorgeous photos snapped during the play. Kit Connor is starring as Romeo opposite Rachel Zegler as Juliet in the new production directed by Sam Gold and featuring music by Jack Antonoff . One photo shows the already iconic balcony scene , in which Kit does a pull-up to hoist himself to Rachel ‘s level and share a kiss with her.
Also featured in the photos are co-stars Tommy Dorfman and Gabby Beans . Following nearly a month of performances during the preview period, Romeo + Juliet has been playing to sold-out, standing-room-only crowds at every single show. It’s already one of the biggest hits of the 2024-25 Broadway season.
It was announced recently that a limited number of floor seats will be available for every performance, putting audiences at the edge of the action each night. Get your tickets now while they’re still available. The production will end on February 16, 2025.
