A multi-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway in Brisbane’s inner south is causing headaches for peak-hour commuters this morning. The crash was in the northbound lanes of the M1 at Greenslopes about 6am. Paramedics took two patients, who were in a stable condition, to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Just after 7am, emergency services warned motorists of heavy delays on the M1 northbound. Drivers are urged to use alternative routes, with city-bound commuters advised to use Logan Road. Reports suggest while the multi-vehicle crash on the M1 at Greenslopes has been cleared, traffic remains banked all the way south to Mount Gravatt.

Commuters can expect congestion, and are advised to take another route, if heading north on the Pacific Motorway this morning. On the bright side, the school holidays could mean fewer vehicles on the roads. The forecast for Brisbane is for another mild day, with a cool top of 27 degrees on a mostly sunny day.
