A MAJOR retailer is set to bring back its price match promise tomorrow and shoppers are describing the move as "brilliant". John Lewis first launched the service in 1925 before scrapping it in 2022, as revealed exclusively by The Sun, after customers said it was too complicated and didn't include online retailers. But the chain has committed to price matching 25 major UK retailers in-store and, crucially, online ones too. Shoppers have taken to social media to praise the the decision, describing it as "brilliant" and "amazing".

I’m very excited for this." Another wrote: "Hurrah! Stupid decision to remove it in the first place, go back to basics and what you do best.
