BLOOMINGTON — Brightpoint is hosting a night of open play pickleball Friday to raise money for its programs. The fundraiser, "Dinks, Drinks, and Donate," will take place 5-8 p.m.

July 26 at Evergreen Racquet Club, 3203 E. Washington Street in Bloomington. The open play format will include foursomes rotating onto one of the 14 pickleball courts as they become available.

Registration is limited to the first 100 players, for $30 per player. LeBron James, the Clooneys, and the Kardashians are all fans of pickleball. But what is it and why is it so popular? Registration includes "swag, food and drinks," Brightpoint said.

Register online at tinyurl.com/BrightpointPickleball . All proceeds will go toward Brightpoint's mission to help children and families and expanding its resources to better help Spanish-speaking families.
