Ahead of it's Valentine's Day release next year, makers of Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy have released an official first-look poster of the fourth film in the franchise. In the poster, Renee Zellweger depicts Bridget once again as she holds onto her diary and pen and stares lovingly into the distance. Makers have decided to stick to the previous pink and purple font and layout as seen on the previous three posters.

Fans were shocked when the trailer for the film was released exclusively in cinemas earlier this month alongside It Ends With Us. It's yet to be revealed when the trailer will be released online but it must be coming soon due to the unexpected release in the cinema halls. Filming for the highly-anticipated project wrapped up on August 8 after portions were shot in and around London and other parts of the UK.

Aside from Renee, also returning to the franchise are Hugh Grant as Daniel Cleaver, Emma Thompson as Doctor Rawlings, Jim Broadbent as Bridget's father and Gemma Jones as her mother. New cast members include Leo Woodall, Bridget's new love interest, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mr. Wallaker and Isla Fisher as Rebecca, Bridget's new neighbour.

Mad About The Boy picks up four years after Mark Darcy's death and sees her as a widow and a single mother of two. She gets back onto the dating scene but now Bridget has to contest with the ever-changing world of dating thanks to online dating and social media. The first Bridget Jones film followed the life of a 32-year-old sin.
