Bridgerton: Phoebe Dynevor slammed for 'giving away' plot Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor's upcoming shark thriller film has landed a release date after the movie was confirmed back in May. The film will be called Beneath The Storm and will release on August 1 2025 in the USA, while a UK release date is yet to revealed. Despite specific plot details not being revealed yet, the edge-of-your-seat thriller will be directed by Tommy Wirkola, who previously directed Violent Night.

Principal filming will begin this summer in sunny Australia, meaning the film will be released nearly a year after shooting begins. As well as Phoebe, the movie will also star The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Whitney Peak and A Quiet Place: Day One's Djimon Hounsou. Phoebe began her career as a child star on BBC 's Waterloo Road, in which she starred as series regular Siobhan Mailey for 20 episodes.

Despite going on to star in several other television shows, she got her big break in 2020 when she bagged herself a role on Bridgerton as Daphne Bridgerton/Basset. Since starring on the critically-acclaimed Netflix series, Phoebe's career has sky-rocketed and has gone on to star in some big projects.
